It was a true pleasure to have this amazing conversation with Junot Diaz on Substack, live and spontaneous, my heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us.
Thank you so much for this truly amazing conversation, lots to contemplate. I love the idea of every family having a memory keeper, as a child I remember my grandmother talking me through her photograph albums, I never realised at the time how precious these memories would be. Love the fact you like to listen to heavy metal as well.
It is so thoughtful, beautiful, and provocative pointing out the power of memory and questions about its positive and negative powerful aspects. It is a powerful paradox, and I believe this can only be understood and resolved meaningfully to a certain degree through the framework of the spectrum of human nature and how does it translate to various dimensions, including, social, ethical, political, national and international.

Thank you so much. I listened to you at London Bookfair this year as well, and felt buoyant afterwards. You have such a beautiful soul.
